SYNOPSIS
The 64 members of Fire Lake's sophomore class are trapped in a place where morals have no meaning, and zero rules apply. But Noah's deaths have trained him--hardened him--to lead the strongest into the future . . . whatever that may be. And at any cost.
Min Wilder knows that survival alone isn't enough.
Trapped in a violent world where brute force passes for leadership, it's tempting to lay back and let everyone else fight it out. But Min's instincts rebel against allowing others to decide who lives and who dies. She's ready to fight for what she believes in. And against whomever might stand in her way.

My Review
Genesis is dark, gruesome, and intense...reset, reset, reset.
There is more to the game than anyone anticipated. Alliances are made, teams assembled, and power hungry leaders become so obsessed with taking over control of the resources, that they become blinded to the end game. Completing Phase two, and discovering the rules....and the rules become ruthless and heartbreaking.
The characters in this story become stronger in their personalities and will for survival. You meet new characters, all playing a perfect roll. Some characters are good and true, not wanting to play the "reset" game, where others are so evil with no conscience, you love to hate them. And if you can believe this, a few bad ponder their behavior, and will completely surprise you.
This world, the thought of living as digital code, is just off the world crazy....my kind of read spot on.
Nemesis blew my mind. I was drawn into the story and was in awe of the creativity. Genesis goes WAY beyond that. The imagination is astounding with twists that will leave your jaw unhinged...and I mean TOTALLY didn't see that coming unhinged.
From the first to the last page, it just doesn't stop...action, suspense, action, suspense (yeah, i meant to repeat myself). There is no good place to stop while reading...it is impossible to stop. You really need to reset yourself into this world.
Thank you Brendan for sharing your imagination.
