ReplyDeleteI used to read a lot when I was younger including horror books. But now I prefer to watch movies, don't really get time for reading.
ReplyDeleteI don't like horror movies most of the time but I like horror reads and maybe spooky films (not too scary) only sometimes :D

ReplyDeleteI don't care for spooky movies where all they do is cut up people and the movie is just plain gruesome and full of blood and mangled people. Ghostbusters is a good movie to watch. They can be some what scary but not over the top. dbahn(at)iw(dot)net
ReplyDeleteI more of a spooky movie kind of woman, but I do love me some Stephen King and his books are down right terrifying.

ReplyDeleteI don't like straight up horror, but I love thrillers and creepy books (where it's more the atmosphere and the mystery than blood and gore).

ReplyDeleteSometimes, it depends on how it's written, if it has kind of a sense of fun to it in addition to the spookiness I'm more likely to enjoy it.

ReplyDeleteI am not a spooky book reader, but I did read the book "YOU". I really wanted to read it, because I always like reading the book before I watch the movie/series.

No, I can't watch or read scary things, haha :) If anything, I find scary books harder to get through than movies because you can't hide your eyes.

ReplyDeleteThank you so much for joining this fantastic hop! I actually know a lot of people like you, and that's fine, because spooky books/movies are not for everyone. I myself used to hate them... But well, now I love them! Don't count on me for gory movies, but I'm fine with the rest ahaha The same thing applies for books, though I have to say, I'm a big fan of psychological thrillers ♥
