Annie and E.J.'s relationship is going strong.
Finally, after the struggles they have endured, things are going great and they are extremely happy.

Yes, the dreaded C-word. Annie has breast cancer.
No one deserves a happy ending more than Annie and E.J. Their love has been tested to the limits. With the support of friends that have become their family, Annie and E.J. have a rough road ahead, not just physically, but mentally.
E.J. is struggling to stay strong. It is devastating to him to watch the pain that his North Star is going through. However at times, E.J. doesn't know if he can stay strong and supportive, having his own struggles to work through. He never shows Annie his worries or heartache. Annie sees E.J.'s determination to stay strong, but also sees right through his facade. No one understands this more than Annie. She brings to light what E.J. doesn't want to accept, which later proves to strengthen their relationship even more.
Wish Upon a Star brings the North Star series to a close. Oh how I am going to miss Annie and E.J.'s fun bickering and amazing love story.
However, this third installment in the series brings the whole romance up a notch with Annie's breast cancer. Proving that LOVE does conquer all. Annie has determination and an incredible spirit to accept this diagnosis. Of course she has her moments of despair, but she pulls through it like the rock star that she is.
I had No doubt about their love surviving through the toughest struggle of their life. Jim Cangany pours his heart and soul into this story. For this author to put so much realistic emotion into this story, and open himself up to share his own experiences, is truly incredible.
Wish Upon a Star has all the right ingredients for a romance novel that will take over your senses...unforgettable characters, simple setting, and a real to life plot. It is a gem that you do not want to slip past your fingers.

About The Author
A lifelong resident of the State of Indiana, Jim Cangany is proud to call himself a Hoosier. The youngest of eight children, he grew up in a household full of books and people. Thanks to the influence of his older siblings, Jim gravitated toward fantasy and sci-fi when looking for something to read. He wrote his first story at age fourteen. A school project, The Magic Coin was a fantasy that involved a king, some bad guys, and, not surprisingly, a magical token.
These days, Jim writes romance on the sweet end. If you ask him what is a guy like him is doing writing romance, he'll reply, "Those are the stories in my head." A believer that the world has enough doom and gloom, he likes stories with a happy ending, regardless of genre. He lives in Indianapolis with his wonderful wife Nancy and his two sons, Seamus and Aidan.
