ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Hannah L. Clark lives with her husband and son in the glorious Rocky Mountains. She has always known she would be a storyteller. After graduating from Utah Valley University with a bachelor’s degree in English, she immediately began writing Uncovering Cobbogoth.
Despite her dream to one day become an author, Hannah has spent her life struggling with dyslexia.  Because of this, she became a writing tutor in college and is a huge advocate for those struggling with learning disabilities and encouraging them never to give up on their dreams. One of her favorite parts about being an author is speaking to schools and book groups about dyslexia and how she has come to see it as a gift.
Hannah loves her fellas, Michael and Sam, hanging with her sister/Illustrator Bekah, running, mythology, soulful bluegrass music, studying alternative medicine, retro hairdos, and growing things. Like her heroine Norah, she kind of believes trees have souls.
NOTE | Contrary to the impression this bio gives, Hannah was surprisingly not raised by hippies.  ;-)

My Review

Uncovering Cobbogoth is absolutely intriguing with its Allure of an ancient race, mystery and originality.

Norah has lived a sheltered life. With her parents gone and being raised by her famous archaeologist Uncle, she is home schooled and traveled a lot with her uncle on digs until she reached a certain age. She is gifted with a photographic memory and the gift of learning ancient languages.

When she arrives home from school, she finds her uncle has been murdered, and a whole mystery unfolds before her eyes.  She is trying to protect her uncle's secrets, while being followed along the way.

First of all, I loved loved loved this story because of the mystery that unfolds before your eyes.  I have always been fascinated with long lost civilizations and find myself watching the history channel a lot for this reason.  I just love what can be discovered from "digs".  So this story grabbed my attention INSTANTLY.

The whole mystery of the Cobbogothians was brilliant and creative.  The story unfolded right before your eyes, giving you just enough clues to keep you drawn to the story.  I loved the magnetism between Norah and James, and found myself in a twist of emotions as they worked through the difficult times.  This story has all the ingredients for a great read: mystery, ancient race, adventure, love, secrets, loyalty, and creative writing.  You will disappear into this story, just don't forget to breathe!
