Synopsis:

It’s been a while since I have read a vampire story, and I’m quite mad at myself for having this so long and not reading it sooner.

 A shade of Vampire dives right into the plot, with Sofia being kidnapped right off the beach. She’s scared, not knowing what is going to happen to her, until she is finally paraded off, scrubbed cleaned, and made to look glamorous for the Royal Prince, Derek Novak, who has just awaken.

Sofia catches Derek’s eye, and also that of his older brother, which will be a huge problem. Sofia shows how strong she is by protecting the other girls, and never give up hope of escape. However, she starts to see that Derek isn’t evil as they all portray.

This story heads straight into the plot, there’s definitely no beating around the bush. The Vampire society created was fun, and it was a really fast read. It definitely has a twist at the end, that will make you want to continue with the series. So if you have the LOVE of a vampire story, with a unique twist in love, this one is for you!
