MY REVIEW
One Past Midnight = WOW!!
Sabine is living two completely different lives every 24 hours. Each life completely different from the other, with a whole different family. Living one life is hard enough, having to live it twice? I myself couldn't even imagine this, however we live this through Sabine's eyes.
Ethan changes it all for Sabine. She opens up to him, in her most vulnerable moments, and begins to trust again. Everything she has known about her situation is changing, and she has a hope that she can live a normal life. But can she choose? And does she even want to?
The plot of this story in original, and brilliant. The imagination harnessed to create this story...wow....just wow...It will give you a book hangover that there is no cure for...except for maybe a sequel?
One Past Midnight will take you on an emotional roller coaster. My heart ached at different moments for so many different reasons. It literally took me three tries to read the last couple of chapters because I was a blubbering mess. The emotions were running on overload. The twist at the end will TOTALLY surprise you.
This is one book where the words take over, disappearing from the page, and taking you for one sweet literature ride.
