MY REVIEW
Eternally Bound is a love story about a couple from two different sides of society over a century ago. Caroline is the daughter of a wealthy farmer, and Thaddeus, the son of the gypsies. Of course, they kept their love a secret, until Caroline's parents try to arrange for her to met gentlemen for marriage. Their love was strong, which caused them both to agree to a binding of souls, where they will be eternally bond, and forever searching for each other.
This story is so more than the average love story. There is that paranormal twist that makes it intriguing and mesmerising to read. To make it even more dramatic, Caroline has a deep love for her present love. She finds this heartbreaking, because she can not deny the eternal pull to Thaddeus.
Caroline thinks she is going mad, not able to rid the night terrors that seem so real, and this attraction to one that she has never met.
Eternally Bound is beautifully written. The flash backs between time were effortlessly easy to follow, and fit eloquently into the story. I loved all the little twists that popped up throughout the story. Those definitely kept you on your toes. It's a fast read that will fulfill you with that satisfaction of believing in true love and all that it can conquer.

EXCERPT
I hear his voice delivered to me by way of the wind. It swirls around me like a comforting cloak that I'm desperately in need of. My skin is chilled like ice that makes its way down to my weary bones. My feet are bare, my frock torn, my hair marred with blood as I run through the forest seeking my heart. I’m distraught as I feel it being slowly wrenched from my chest, leaving it open, vulnerable and aching.
I feel him slipping into oblivion and I won't allow it. "You can't leave me here!" I scream through a throat raw and inflamed. I care not for the pain for it is insignificant. Pain of the flesh I can endure but a life without him I cannot. Not one day, one hour nor one second will I survive without him.
I wake to the sound of my own bloodcurdling scream, my body drenched in sweat. "Shh,” a male voice whispers against my ear. But it isn't his voice, the one I so desperately long to hear. I struggle against his arms as they encompass me, holding me against his frame. Betrayal, my mind screams, you are betraying your own heart! My inspiration for this story came when I was vacationing in The Blue Ridge Mountains and came across a stunning little area that seemed to be lost in time.
In the southern high mountain valley of Fannin County, is a mountain farm community named Dial, Georgia. Founded in 1834, this charming little community hasn’t a town. What it does have is small farms and a hand full of modest homes beside the fields and river banks. This community hasn't changed in over 100 years. For me, it was like I was going back in time. I instantly fell in love with the area and knew it would be perfect for the story.
