Stephanie Lisa Tara's Turtle Book Review

I was excited to read this book because my family has a box turtle named Tutie that we have had for about eight years.  However, she is different than the sea turtles, I wanted to learn more about them.  Tutie doesn't realize what an easy life she has!

Did you know that there are 8 different kinds of Sea Turtles?  I sure didn't...

Turtle Book is an amazing source of information about all eight of these sea turtles.  This information includes where they live, where they nest, what they eat, how big they get, how long they live and SO much more.  Included with all these fun facts are the most amazing pictures that are just plain beautiful.

However, what I found compelling about this book, is that it can teach you what you can do to preserve the wild Sea Turtles.  Little things you can do to protect them, like using recycled bags instead of the plastic bags because the turtles tend to think the plastic bags are jellyfish and eat it...then causes them to die.  It is empowering to know that simple jesters on land can help those out deep at sea.  This book also included other websites that you can visit for more information...more websites where you can donate to help those sea turtles being rescued, and another site where you can adopt a sea turtle.  Can you Imagine?  That would be fun!!

It's an amazing book that the whole family can enjoy and learn about sea turtles together.
