I won't give away any more of the story than the synopsis above, however, I will tell you how incredibly hilarious and truthful this story is.
My Soon-To-Be-Sex Life deals with so many issues besides the obvious...Addiction, healing, discovery, High school bullying..and these are all woven into a hilarious, laughing out loud story that is brilliantly created to teach a lesson on growing up and dealing with adult situations.
Charlie has a personality that is brutally honest. I. LOVED. HER! When she finds out she has to move in with her grandfather, she is devastated. However, their bickering turns to an incredible bonding where you watch Charlie sincerely start caring for her grandfather.
Charlie is trying to deal with her mother's situation the best that she can. She is unsure if she will get her same mother back and feels uncomfortable with their visits.
And then walks in Eric into her life. Charlie may have to re-evaluate her whole Soon-to-be-sex-life strategy.
This is truly a FUN read that you will just soar through. It captures the teenage personality spot on..and what teenage isn't hilarious?
