Midnight-Century of the Vampire Novella 1 Review

Title: Midnight: Centry of the Vampire Novella 1

 Author: Ami Balckwelder

Publish Date: Publication Date: October 27, 2012

Synopsis:
Midnight:Century of the Vampires, 1...is part 1 of 3 of this series. The series is followed by Midnight: Rise of the Underground 1-3. The world is no longer the way we remember. Few are even still alive to recall the days when midnight didn’t mean cowered away & hidden. Out of sight became our only way to survive since the...Century Vampires. If you want to live, trust no one.

Aura and Mark are busy blowing up all the caverns that they can find to try and rid the world of the evil vampires. They are gradually taking over, and making it difficult for all humans to survive.

Aura and Mark met a couple years ago and have become a good team. The young vampires are easier to kill, however they become concerned when they come across and older vampire that seems to be playing with them. Six pm to six am are the dreadful hours to keep your guard up. Aura starts to get sick, so they decide to go to the underground for help and supplies.

This vampire dystopia series is quite the read. I loved the uniqueness of the vampires. I won’t reveal any more information regarding that issue because it would be a spoiler! However, I found it very refreshing to read the creative imagination for the vampire lore. The struggle for the human race was profound, and I could picture in my mind the destruction the vampires left behind. I love reading the novellas, because they are so quick to go through and leave you hungry for more!
