My Review
Amy is hiding from her abusive x-husband who is also a
cop. She tried to seek help, however the
police sided with Noland. She decided to
change her identity, and take action into her own hands to protect her
daughter.
Amy is a house-sitter for one of the Fitzgerald’s summer
homes. There has been a string of
burglaries in the community, and Amy is on guard. The home was takes care of was almost broken
into, but she scared them off. Then,
Eddie shows up. Amy didn’t expect him,
and holds a gun up to him when he enters the house. After Eddie proves who he is, she eases off,
and becomes the house keeper she was hired to be.
There is an attraction between Amy and Eddie. Eddie warms up to Amy’s daughter, which makes
her more comfortable. However, Eddie
starts noticing things about Amy, and he wonders if she is a fugitive. After a horrific incident, Amy comes clean with
Eddie, and he promises to help her with her situation. The cop in him comes out, and his need to
protect wins.
First off, I have loved every Fitzgerald book written. I have been a HUGE fan of Eddie throughout
the whole series, and could NOT wait for his story. I even asked Ednah that when she wrote Eddie’s
story, to name his love interest Michele, but she must have forgotten that
request!! Haha
Amy is an extremely strong character. To take control of your own life and leave
everything else behind takes a lot of courage.
Eddie has always been a protector, putting his family first at all
costs. This protection passes to Amy and
her daughter, which leads to Eddie not being able to control his desire for
her.
The attraction between Amy and Eddie is hot, steamy, and
seductive. Although they possess that
bantering, and stubborn headedness, the desire can not be denied.
With the hot romance set aside, Forever Hers contains an
unexpected mystery on why the x husband Noland is stalking Amy and making her
life a living hell. An unexpected twist
emerges through Eddie’s detective skills, which reveals how corrupt, psychotic,
and disturbed Noland really is. The plot
is completely brilliant.
Forever Hers possesses all the ingredients for a fast paced,
exciting read that you won’t be able to put down. As with all the Fitzgerald books, you will
fall in love for the tight, close family who is always there to help and meddle
with your business.
